Pupils Work, Teacher Rests - We all play !

Pupils Work, Teacher Rests - We all play !

Do you remember the chapter about games in Take Action ( 7th grade book) ?
Here's a priceless opportunity for you to rest a bit !

Ask the pupils to team up in groups or 3 ( or 4 ).
Their task: Plan and prepare a game for the whole class to play.
For several lessons we just played :  Treasure Hunt ( twice ), Pass the Parcel, Trivia, 'What do the words have in common'-Quiz, Blind Cow and more.

The Trivia Quiz was intelligent and scientific.
The Treasure Hunt sent us running all over school ( me included). One clue sent us to a "Fortune Teller". Another clue sent us to play a game where we had to stand on sheets of paper (size A4) without falling         ( otherwise we'd  'drown at sea' ) and move to 'shore' by squeezing together onto several sheets of paper, picking up the sheet of paper at the end of the line and putting it on the ground closer to 'shore'.
Jumping in big trash bags ( the plastic version of potato bags) was also one of the games.

I couldn't have been so creative even if I wanted to.
They did the work, I rested (and ran, too)  and we all had a great time !
